July 28, 2009, Washington, DC – 11 Turkish American students were awarded the Turkish Coalition of America’s TCAdvance Scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic year. The TCAdvance Scholarship is awarded competitively to Americans of Turkish and Turkic heritage with the objective to recognize the academic achievements, community service and leadership role of young Turkish Americans and to cultivate a new generation of leaders in our community.
